Worlds Recap – Part 2

Here are some more Worlds moments that happened after we sent out last week’s newsletter:

  • Here’s a list of ALL the 2025 World Champions 🥹
  • Thread: Your predictions vs. the actual Worlds champions. See how many divisions you guessed correctly!
  • Maine Stars Glory (Limited Extra Small Coed 6) not only won, but took home the state of Maine’s first gold medal at Worlds 🏆
  • Top Gun Double O extended their winning streak again, and have now won 7 years in a row. It is the longest-ever winning streak in the same division at Worlds!
  • Flyers All-Starz Karma (Canada) also added another year to their streak! They have also won 7 years in a row (in different divisions).
  • More streaks: Cheer Athletics Wildcats has the longest streak of globing at Worlds, with 16 straight years of taking home a medal 🤯
  • Cheer Extreme Lady Lux went back-to-back-to-back, securing a 3-peat 💗
  • Two gold medals belong down under 🇦🇺 EOD Pink Panthers & Pure Allstars Prodigy brought home gold medals for Australia!
  • Cheer Sport Sharks dads passed the fit check.
  • Here’s the medal count of all gyms. Topping the list? The California All Stars 💙
  • It’s been a long time since we reported on a major scoring issue, until now… CJA Team Gunz claims they were misjudged at Worlds after a pyramid skill, deemed legal all season, was ruled illegal on Day 1. After adjustments for Day 2, they lost difficulty points and finished second. With the highest raw score on Day 1, they likely would have won if allowed to keep the skill. USASF has not yet responded.

Top 10 scores of the competition*:

  1. Brandon All-Stars Senior Black
  2. Unity Allstars Black (England)
  3. Flyers All Starz Karma (Canada)
  4. Cheer Extreme SSX

  7. Cheer Extreme Code Black
  8. Unity Allstars Royal (England)
  9. California Pride Big Bang
  10. The California All Stars Glow (who won the Intl. U18 Non Tumbling 6 division, which we all know…😭)
